Tracy
Gosson is the President of Sagesse, Inc., a firm she launched
in 2007 that offers high impact marketing, business and economic
development, and management consulting services to organizations
from large-scale government agencies and corporations to niche
nonprofits.
Tracy
has over 20 years experience developing innovative marketing
strategies that directly address challenges and produce tangible
results. She is the founding Executive Director of the Live
Baltimore Home Center and is a dynamic speaker that has
been invited to share her innovative and enthusiastic experience
with many organizations. Prior to Live Baltimore, she spent
ten years working in television and film, building an understanding
of effective communications that translated into expansive
national and regional media coverage for many successes clients. |

Under her nine years of leadership Live Baltimore became a nationally
recognized organization, receiving numerous awards and was prominently
established as a comprehensive urban marketing initiative that has been
the model for similar efforts in many cities. Live Baltimore’s unique,
market-based approach has been heralded as having a significant role in
the resurgence of Baltimore City neighborhoods and population growth in
the past decade.
Managing a $1 million operating budget she launched a high-profile media
campaign attracting Washington DC workers to move to Baltimore City;
developed corporate membership programs and customized product lines that
generated over 40% of annual income; launched the Home
Center, a one-stop-shop retail facility assisting potential new
residents in their city living search; created award-winning website
with dynamic consumer tracking component, attracting over 40,000 monthly
visitors; published City
Living Resource Guide, a bi-annual full color magazine; developed
award-winning Welcome to Baltimore City Living Relocation
Kit; and cultivated I
Love City Life into a ubiquitous brand with specialty merchandise
and city-wide Ambassador
members.
Tracy resides in the circa 1875 rowhome that she renovated in the historic
neighborhood of Butchers Hill in Baltimore, Maryland. She currently serves
as a board member of the Baltimore
Efficiency and Economy Foundation and the Greater
Baltimore Committee The LEADERship. She served as the president of
the Baltimore
City Department of Recreation and Parks Board of Directors from 2004-2008,
was a member of Mayor Dixon's Blue
Ribbon Committee on Tax Reform
and is a former member
of Baltimore City’s Mayor O’Malley’s Cabinet.
Tracy was awarded the State of Maryland Department of Housing & Community
Development 2004 Home Ownership Advocate of the Year, the Daily Record
Innovator of the Year 2003, 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders 2002 from the
Baltimore Business Journal and Top 25 Young Leaders to Watch
2002 from The Baltimore Times. She is also a graduate of the
Greater Baltimore Committee’s The LEADERship class of 2003.
