LEADERSHIP
Sagesse is led by founder Tracy Gosson, a marketing professional with over 25 years of experience developing innovative marketing strategies that directly address challenges and produce sustainable results. She personally manages all client projects, working with each one closely to understand their needs and developing tailored solutions. Tracy is involved with all Sagesse’s client, and she has first-hand experience executing every aspect of marketing campaigns.
Tracy is the founding Executive Director of the organization Live Baltimore and wrote the playbook on how to successfully market Baltimore City and its 225 neighborhoods. She built one of the most high-profile initiatives focused on marketing city living in the country, which has been the model for similar efforts in many cities around the country.
Launched in 1998, today Live Baltimore would be considered a “social enterprise” with its ground-breaking approach to building a non-profit organization with a highly successful earned-revenue model that rivals any consumer-facing, for-profit effort in the community development arena. She elevated the art of the “double bottom-line” philosophy to a level never seen before in Baltimore, all while staying true to the organizational mission.
Prior to that, she spent ten years working in television and film, building an understanding of effective story-telling communications that has been the foundation for generating expansive national and regional media coverage for clients today.
Tracy has received many honors and awards over the years, including The Daily Record Top 100 Woman of Maryland, State of Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development Home Ownership Advocate of the Year, The Daily Record Innovator of the Year, and 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders from the Baltimore Business Journal. She is also a graduate of the Greater Baltimore Committee’s The Leadership class of 2003.
As lead Project Manager, Megan McCormack is the gatekeeper of project tasks, ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met. She manages team members throughout the process, providing a prompt response for front-line problem-solving.
Megan has worked in the communications industry for over 12 years, working with national and international organizations in developing, implementing, and managing various marketing-related projects. She works with diverse client teams and vendors, developing communications systems and tools to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
With a specialty in digital media, Megan has managed upwards of $500k in advertising investments across platforms on an annual basis and understands how to structure targeted campaigns to optimize maximum impact and engagement. She also has a depth of experience in website and email campaign development, editorial calendar management, social media planning, event production, and digital media planning and buying. She has worked with Sagesse since 2013.
